After such a succesful event in 2011, we see the return of the CTV Cup - Smash & Dash in 2012 with all profits going directly to the city of Christchurch. The city itself has just reached the terrible figure of 10,000 earthquakes since that dramatic day of events wheer over 150 people lost their lives. So......... UKSC Travel are proud to bring you the CTV Cup Smash & Dash Cricket fundraising event for our families & friends in Christchurch. As Kiwis based in London still want tio show the great city of Christchurch that we still care and we can still do something to help, and give London based New Zealanders a chance to get involved. We named this cricket competition day the CTV Cup as we lost a dear friend when the CTV Building collapsed in the earthquake,. After 10 teams turned out along side the couple hundred supporters in 2011, we have had some great feedback so we are the 2012 day will grow the number of teams and hopefully the amount donated to Christchurch. Proceeds from the event will go to the earthquake appeal (Christchurch Earthquake Appeal) . The bar operators will also donate part of the bar profits. We have a fantastic group of volunteers that have got this event up and running and all their time has been donated. Many awesome businesses in London have also offered their time/services to make this event happen and they are listed below. Show your support for the people of Christchurch and come along for what will be a great afternoon of Kiwis from all over London pulling together; Let's show them back home that we really do care and we continue to "do our bit" from London.
