My Name is Tim Wilson and I am a born and breed Cantab; I have been based in London for the past 5 years. After the events in Christchurch on the 22nd Feb I had a feeling of hopelessness and that not being able to help makes it very hard on all Kiwi Londoners.

So I decided to start organising a charity day in honour of all those brave Cantabs, to raise much needed funds to help get that area back on its feet as soon as possible.  All the profits raised on the day will be going to the Red Cross and the Christchurch City Council.

I am extremely proud to bring you the CTV Cup, which will be held on the 7th May 2011 at Raynes Park Sports ground, the teams will be made of Kiwis based in London alongside some corporate NZ firms also. The day will be full of cricket, music and food and best of all the chance to rub shoulders with other like-minded Kiwis and show our support for the amazing city of Christchurch!! I personally would like to thank Michelle Marsh (New Zealand Society president) & Richard & Islay Probert (Thomson Reuters) who have helped me to get this event up & running. We all look forward to seeing you there on the day.
